Vauxhall Cascada Convertible: Aimed at hairdressers?
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Vauxhall are teasing a new convertible – the Vauxhall Cascada – that appears to be Astra based but stretched and pushed upmarket. We knew Vauxhall (and Opel, for that matter), were planning a replacement for the Astra Twin Top which we guessed would be the new Astrra Cabrio. But it’s not, it’s the Vauxhall Cascada.
Nissan GT-R Nismo confirmed as Nissan opens new Nismo HQ
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Nissan has opened a new Nismo HQ in Yokohama and confirmed that there will be a Nissan GT-R Nismo flagship performance car built. So far, we’ve had the Nissan Juke Nismo arrive and the Nissan 370Z Nismo turned up recently too as a production model for the UK and Europe – and we’ve even had a concept of a LEAF Nismo – so we know Nissan are serious about offering Nismo versions even on their least sporty models. But the one car that really doesn’t need a Nismo version is the GT-R, yet to have a range of performance cars under the Nismo banner without having the mighty GT-R at the top of that range would seem odd.
New Audi A8 2010/2011 teased
Wed, 22 Jul 2009The 'adjusted' A8 2010 / 2011 tease from Audi I think ‘Teased’ is probably over-egging the reality. What we actually have is what looks like a grey-haired German accountant standing next to a car under a sheet. But this is in fact Michael Dick – Audi’s Board Member for Technical Development – standing next to the new Audi A8.
