Up for auction is a new in package, set of EBC High Performance Organic, Carbon Graphite front brake pads.

These brakes have a GG rated high brake effect organic pad blended with aramid fibers as used in bullet proof vests. These pads give good mileage and eliminate rotor galling and are suitable for all big sport bikes, cruisers and tourers alike.

The carbon graphite series makes these brakes cool running, high friction pads ideal for general purpose replacement use or for enduro/moto- x use on fast, dry tracks. Low heat transfer characteristics make this a popular choice for faster off road race applications.

CHEVROLET has taken on the job of restoring a number of classic Corvettes which were swallowed by a gaping sinkhole beneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. General Motors' head of global product development, Mark Reuss, said today that the damaged vehicles are some of the most significant in motoring history. He said the company wants to restore as many of them as possible so car fans can enjoy them.

'400,000 children in smoky cars'

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of children travel in smoke-filled cars every week, a charity has warned. The British Lung Foundation (BLF) estimates that in England more than 430,000 children aged 11 to 15 are exposed to second hand smoke in cars each week. The charity, which conducted analysis on official NHS data, said that 185,000 children of the same age are exposed to smoke while in the family car on "most days", if not every day.
