New Mercedes A-Class is “The Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2012″

The new Mercedes A-Class – perhaps set to become Mercedes’ most successful model ever – has been voted the most beautiful car of 2012. Not only that, but the new A-Class looks to be a real challenge to cars like the BMW 1 Series (except for keen drivers) and the new Volvo V40, something the old A-Class wouldn’t have had a prayer of doing, despite being the favourite car for ‘er indoors whose hubby had a big Merc. Now, to add to the accolades the new A-Class has already received from buyers, reviewers and award givers, the 2013 Mercedes A-Class has been voted “The Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2012″ by more than 100,000 car fans across 52 countries.

Charles Morgan to build rival cars

Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. Australian Automotive Industry Design Night announced

The Australian Auto Industry Design Night is set to take place on 28 June despite the surprise cancellation of the Melbourne motor show. Traditionally held on the first day of the show, this year's Auto Industry Design Night will be held at Gasolina, South Wharf, Melbourne. Gasolina is a concept created by two friends Dean Johnson and Carl Cerra, who is also an industrial designer/clay modeler and has also worked throughout Europe, you can check it out here.
