 SRK SERIES CLUTCH REBUILD KIT

FITS:
SUZUKI

1999
GSX-1300

The new SRK series includes a full engine set of Kevlar® lined friction plates, heavy duty clutch springs of either the coil spring or diaphragm type, together with a full engine set of steel separator plates.

The important part about rebuilding the clutch is to get back to the exact “stack height” of the original assembly and merely replacing the friction plates does not often achieve this accurately, especially when separator plates have been worn. The SRK kit overcomes this problem by completely
resetting the vehicles clutch stack height.

Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the ‘original’ James Bond Aston Martin?

Wed, 21 May 2014

Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the original Bond car? Lovers of James Bond films will be totally familiar with the iconic Aston Martin DB5 Bond drove in a number of films, and in particular the Aston Martin DB5 which was the star of Goldfinger. Bond anoraks will tell you that the ‘real’ James Bond – the one Fleming wrote about in the Bond series of books – drove a Bentley, but Bond was given an Aston Martin to drive in the Goldfinger book as he chased Auric Goldfinger across Europe.

Vauxhall Ampera Hybrid – No range anxiety

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

The Vauxhall Ampera goes on a 350 mile run We’ve been moaning quite a bit about the claims being made by car makers for their electric cars. We understand that a big drawback for buyers is ‘Range Anxiety’, a completely understandable concern when you can’t exactly pull over and top up your electric. So we asked Secretary of State Philip Hammond to look at legislation on range claims by electric car makers so buyers can make a judgement on the facts, not the fiction.

The fall and rise of the budget car

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Twenty years ago, the classic bargain brands like Lada seemed to be going the same way as the Soviet empire that spawned them. Woefully dated and badly made, only a weirdo would have bought a new Lada rather than a second-hand model from Ford, Vauxhall or VW. However, one of the big trends in the car industry today is the re-emergence of bargain cars.
