BMW concept stars in Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Fri, 01 Jul 2011

BMW's EfficientDynamics concept car will star alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the next installment in the series of hit Hollywood blockbusters. Chosen for its embodiment of the latest technologies – not to mention its avantgarde aesthetic – the BMW EfficientDynamics was first displayed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. "With its futuristic design and large glass surfaces, the car offers a fascinating perspective on the future of sheer driving pleasure - in combination with maximum efficiency," said Ian Robertson, BMW AG Board Member for Sales and Marketing.

Orange alert for Seat's fastest car ever

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

IF YOU’D like your brand new Seat Leon Cupra 280 a little more orange than the basic colour palette allows, check out this new development from Seat UK. The firm’s British arm has responded immediately to complaints that the fastest Leon ever simply didn’t look crazy enough, thanks largely to its muted choice of colours. Seat UK has reacted with a shockingly orange bodyshell wrap, covering the original finish and protecting it from damage, as well as giving the Leon Cupra’s stunning lines a bit more to shout about.

Toyota leaves F1

Wed, 04 Nov 2009

Toyota are quitting F1 It’s not exactly a huge surprise, but Toyota has announced today that they are leaving Formula One and will not be back in 2010 to take their place. With the announcement that Bridgestone are also quitting F1 after 2010, and the departure of Honda before the 2009 season started, there is going to be no Japanese involvement in F1. Which is rather sad for a nation that loves its cars.
