Honda Odyssey minivan recalled for faulty tailgate struts
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Honda said on Wednesday that it will recall about 45,800 Odyssey minivans from the 2008 and 2009 model years to replace the power-tailgate struts. Honda says the gas-filled struts that support the tailgate are prone to early failure. This could lead to the tailgate closing unexpectedly.
Few cars perform well in new insurance group crash test

The first batch of 11 luxury and near-luxury cars put to the test by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety didn't fare so well--only three were rated as good or acceptable. Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification dialed up to 593-hp

The standard Ghost sedan wasn't exactly short on power until the announcement of the V-Specification version -- the company's 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces 563-hp and 575 lb-ft of stump-pulling torque in standard form.
