Eck1 1967-69 Firebird Engine Adapter Straps - Install 1975-81 Pontiac Engine on 2040-parts.com
Hatfield, Pennsylvania, United States
US MADE precision lazier cut
This pair of adapter brackets will allow late Pontiac engines/blocks to fit the early 67-9 Firebirds, the 64-72 GTO Lemans Tempest and 59-70 Full size Pontiacs and Grand Prix. These brackets also allow the early 2 bolt engine/blocks to fit into the later Pontiacs You need to get the rubber engine mounts for the car you have - not the engine. You simply bolt the brackets to the block, then the 2 bolt or 3 bolt mounts will attach using 7/16 bolts and nuts. See my other auction for brackets with hardware You can use factory engine/ motor mount bolts, but will require 4 more plus nuts. I will post more pics soon. Some late Pontiac blocks will require grinding, or you can drill and tap the boss on 1 side. This can very confusing. Having the correct engine mounts and frame brackets are required. Do your homework! On 3 bolt mounts, you do not use the upper bolt. This causes no issues These brackets are thin enough to not effect the mounts from not fitting like others on the market, yet are strong enough for any application. These were previously available from Performance Years and Spotts Performance Over 200 sets sold and in use. Can support any horspower. I have several 9 second Pontiac race cars using these adapters. Can also be used to make engine cradles or to adapt late blocks to other cradles. |

Mercedes-Benz drops first sketches of S-Class Coupé concept
Fri, 06 Sep 2013The first batch of official sketches of Mercedes-Benz's S-Class Coupé Concept emerged this morning ahead of its unveiling at next week's Frankfurt motor show. The S-Class Coupé Concept previews the production model that will replace the CL-Class Coupé, and the first glimpse provides us with views from every angle. From what we can see, it mixes elements of S-Class – dropping feature line, rounded rear screen – with a pinch of SLS – hood power domes, rear lamp graphics and cab-rearward proportions.
