1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra sells for $7.25 million at Monterey auction
Mon, 17 Aug 2009The championship-winning 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 sold for a record $7.25 million on Saturday at an auction in Monterey. The sale is believed to be a record for an American car at auction. Bob Bondurant drove it to victory in the 12 Heures du Reims--fittingly on the Fourth of July in 1965 to secure the FIA title.
Nissan Ellure concept

A D-segment-sized sedan, the project has seen input from both Nissan's studios in Japan and NDA, where the concept was completed. Tue, 29 Oct 2013Mercedes started to tease the 2014 C-Class last week, followed quickly by the first official interior photos of the new C-Class. Now we get the first leaked photo of the exterior. Looking very much like an evolution of the current C-Class – but with overtones of both the CLA and new S-Class – the new C-Class is going to have to be special to compete not only with the BMW 3 Series but also Mercedes own A-Class range.
