Up for sale is a Eddie Marine 10 inch stainless flame arrestor.  The arrestors fit standard carburetors with 5-1/8” opening and feature course stainless steel mesh for optimum air flow. The North American International Auto Show press days were followed again this year by the AutoWeek Design Forum. For this 14th edition of the Forum, the organizers picked 'Design for Success' as a theme for the conferences. And this theme was quite relevant given the gloomy forecasts made by some about the financial health of the Detroit-based car manufacturers.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport – Production starts

Production has now started on the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport But that looks set to pick up with the latest Veyron, the Grand Sport, which has commenced production at the Bugatti factory in Molsheim this week. And to celebrate that fact, Bugatti has had a bit of a get together of Veyron owners to play with pre-production cars in Cannes this weekend, which also gives them the excuse to release some new images of the Grand Sport. Apart from Limited Edition Veyrons (like the Veyron Bleu Centenaire or the Veyron L’Edition Centenaire) the Veyron Grand Sport will be the mainstay of production from now on.

THE FIRST car bought by John Lennon after he passed his driving test is being offered for sale at auction next month. The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe was bought by the Beatle in 1965 and is expected to sell for between 120,000 euros (£99,987) and 170,000 euros (£141,000). Lennon's biographer, Philip Norman, described how car dealers descended on the singer's home when the news emerged that he had passed his test and offered him a "gleaming smorgasbord" of luxury cars.
