New, but sat around the barn outside the packaging for awhile, has been messed with, but has no evidence of ever having been bolted down.
Brand:Edelbrock Surface Finish:Aluminum Manufacturer Part Number:Unknown Warranty:No Placement on Vehicle:Front Country/Region of Manufacture:United States UPC:does not apply

This is an Edelbrock "Super" dual carburetor intake manifold for a Ford flathead engine.  It is another one of those items you pick up at a swap meet that the previous owner had left laying around the barn outside it's original packaging, dusty, but zero evidence of ever having been bolted down.  My price on this intake is slightly pricey because I actually do have other plans for it (if I ever get the time).  I do have a box full of Holley 94 two barrel carburetors, and rebuild kits for them, but almost zero time to get them rebuilt.  That's a dirty shame because I can rebuild those carburetors blind folded.  Anyway, the intake is for sale as is in case anyone wants it before I have a chance to upgrade the package with sandblasting, remanufactured dual two barrel carburetors, complete linkage, and a dual carb fuel block.

Volkswagen Beetle Dune IS going in to production – expect it in 2016

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

The VW Beetle Dune (above) will hit showrooms in 2016 Volkswagen went back to its Beetle history with the VW Beetle Dune Concept at Detroit in January, a car that looked close to production-ready even if VW were adamant it was just a concept. There was no more new on the Beetle Dune until late last month when, for no apparent reason, a raft of new photos of the Beetle Dune were released by Volkswagen with the only rationale being they had made the decision to make the Dune a production car. And they have.

Alfa Romeo going to the USA

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Alfa Romeo is going back to the US for the first time in almost 20 years We already know that the only Fiat making its way to the US is the Fiat 500, but it now looks as if a big chunk of the Alfa Romeo range will make the journey too. Sergio Marchionne, Fiat’s boss and the new head of Chrysler, has been working on rationalising Chrysler’s management and working out the best way forward. As mentioned, only the Fiat 500 will be offered for sale in America (and probably built in Mexico), with Fiat platforms being used to build new Chryslers that will be designed and built in the States.

Ford B-Max concept

Tue, 22 Mar 2011

The Ford B-Max concept from Geneva previewed more than just an evolution of the Kinetic design language. The B-Max demonstrates a production ready B-pillar-less sliding rear door, as well as other ecologically minded additions, strongly suggesting that the show car is little more than a thinly veiled doppelganger for a production model. The B segment car is powered by a turbocharged three cylinder, one liter EcoBoost engine, combined with a start-stop mechanism to produce significantly improved economy and CO2 ratings.
