This is a Completely Remanufactured ready to run EDELBROCK  1901 Quadrajet with divorce style choke ( intake mounted spring & linkage ). It's a very clean, emissions carburetor, legal for street use. Perfect replacement for 1966 to 1973 Chevy 283-327-350-400 small block and 396-402-454 big block engines using a Quadrajet.  Car or truck. ( Some big block engines may require a small modification to the throttle ) A Good street carburetor for people who drive there cars. The newest and last of the Quadrajets ever made with over 45 years of improvments.  And alot of life left to live.  Factory turned for fuel milage without giving up performance.  My carburetors are hand picked & inspected . Cleaned in solvent to degrease ,then go in to  a ultrasonic cleaner to protect & save as much of the OE finish as possible and to reach & clean every passage. I replace all Gaskets, Seals, the Pump, Float, Choke Pull-Off , Throttle Bushings & Filter. Bob Lutz reportedly to stay on at General Motors

Bob Lutz, General Motors vice chairman and internationally renowned product guru, has reversed his retirement plans and is expected to stay with the remade car company as it charts a new path out of bankruptcy. Multiple media outlets are reporting Lutz, 77, has changed course and will not retire from GM at the end of the year as he had planned. Automotive News, citing anonymous sources, says the veteran industry leader will stay on at the company, possibly in a marketing or communications role--and could have product input.
