This is a completely rebuilt Edelbrock 1902 Quadrajet  Carburetor. A direct replacement for 1974-78 Chevy engines with divorce style chokes ( intake mounted thermostat & spring ).  Updated to run todays blended Ethanol fuels. My carbs are hand picked , inspected , cleaned & restored to original factory specs . I try hard to keep and protect the original coating / patina and service all of needed parts. Every carb. contains a minimum of a New professional grade rebuild kit , ethanol safe pump and fuel control needle & seat plus a New float , filter & choke pull-off. And any other service or repair it may need. They are ready to run out of the box. These Edelbrock carburetors are the last quadrajets to be built and are said to be the best. After a long run as GM's main carb. so many were used GM couldn't build them all ! They had help from Carter now Weber . And these  Edelbrock quads have all the updates , design changes GM & Carter made over the years plus the newer tuning Edelbrock & Weber made to offer them once again to the classic car market. You can't do better than that. But they are getting harder to find everyday.  Every carburetor comes with a 1 Year Limited Warranty for defects in parts & workmanship. If you have a problem I will repair & replace it ( at my option) and all you need to do is ship it back.  ( Note to buyer ) This carburetor is designed to use as direct replacement using factory throttle , choke & transmission linkage. If you are changing intake manifolds , updating to a late model automatic transmission ( not original to the car/truck ) or using this carburetor on a Big Block Chevy ( 396-402-454 ) a change in linkage or linkage adaptor maybe needed . It may be better to use the 1901 - 1903 or 1904 carburetor.  Edelbrock has built in these changes or I can make them for you before shipping.
