You are bidding on a new " Factory cosmetic Blem" Edelbrock 75624 RPM AIR-GAP 2R Intake manifold designed for street 396-502 c.i.d. Chevrolet V8s with high-performance rectangular port heads, the new RPM Air-Gap incorporates the race-winning technology that's been used on our Victor Series intakes. The open air space separates the runners from the hot engine oil, and as a result, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler for a denser charge and more power. Includes rear water outlets, two distributor clamp locations and nitrous bosses. Accepts all late model alternator and A/C brackets for the street. For square-bore carburetors only. No provision for exhaust heated chokes and no exhaust crossover. Will not fit under stock hood of Corvette, 1965-67 Chevelle or 1967-81 Camaro. .The EnduraShine finish is a super durable three step coating process that provides a bright polished aluminum looking show quality shine that will not oxidize or fade. There are some cosmetic flaws in the Endurashine finish on this manifold. It is new and still in the factory box. The reserve on this manifold is well below the retail price of $469.99. If you have any questions please email me and I will answer as soon as possible. Thank you for looking and happy bidding.

NY Times reporter says he followed Tesla's advice

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

A New York Times reporter says he was following the advice of Tesla employees when he drove an electric Model S sedan beyond its indicated range in an effort to reach a recharging station. Responding to a blog post by Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk highly critical of his original article, Times reporter John Broder on Thursday said he did not set out to sabotage the test drive -- refuting one of Musk's most-damning points. Broder also refutes Musk's claim that he drove the car around a parking lot in a deliberate attempt to fully discharge the battery -- Broder says he was looking for the recharge station in a poorly lighted rest stop at night.
