Subaru recall hits nearly 634,000 Legacy, Outback, Tribeca and Forester vehicles
Thu, 03 Jan 2013Subaru has issued a recall for 2010 and 2011 Legacy and Outback vehicles, 2006 through 2012 Tribeca crossovers and 2009 through 2012 Foresters. The automaker says that “puddle lights” on those vehicles could, if exposed to an electrolytic fluid like salty water, short circuit and cause a fire. All in all, 633,842 cars and crossovers are included in the recall.

Although more about the tech than the design, the IBE does drop a few clues to the next Leon family.It's based on the running gear of the new Leon and packs a 75kW electric engine capable of daily use around town thanks to lithium ion batteries with 18kWh capacity. New recalls hit 2.7 million GM vehicles, from Corvettes to Saturns
Thu, 15 May 2014General Motors is recalling 2.7 million U.S. cars and trucks for problems ranging from flawed taillamps and windshield wipers to brake problems, in an escalation of the safety crisis that has enveloped the company for months. GM said today it expects to book up to $200 million in charges in the second quarter to cover the cost of recalls during the period.
