Up for sale is a Brand New set of Edelbrock #5089 E-Street Aluminum Cylinder Heads.
Edelbrock's all new line of heads are designed for entry-level street
performance engines and ideal for operating in the idle to 5500 rpm
range. Manufactured in the USA, by Edelbrock, these heads feature A356
aluminum castings that are heat treated to T-6 spec for superior casting
strength and quality. Their modern combustion chamber designs improve
the combustion process and larger than stock intake and exhaust ports
move more air through your engine. These features improve an engine's
efficiency, resulting in more horsepower and torque and improved mileage
potential. Additional qualities include hardened spring cups for
long-term wear protection and Heli-Coil® threaded inserts in the rocker
stud bosses for increased strength; these are the details that most
low-cost competitors leave out of their heads. All E-Street cylinder
heads are sold in pairs and Made in the USA. Dyno tests showed a gain of
16 hp and 11 ft-lbs of torque over our overseas competitor..

Lotus secures more funding, but five-year plan is dead

But rumor has it that the sexy Esprit concept could be revived at a low cost. Tan Sri Mohd Khamil Jamil, managing director of the company that owns Lotus parent company Proton, DRB, confirmed that the company sold 70 cars in the U.K.

This 4240mm long car that seats four has a Cd value of just 0.19 which, in combination with light-weight construction and an advanced diesel powertrain, gives 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 80% lower nitrogen oxide emissions. This reduction in NO2 is achieved by spraying 'AdBlue', an aqueous urea solution, into the exhaust system in precisely metered quantities to convert the nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water, so even if it looks like it should, it shouldn't smell fishy...
AutoDesign Prague 2013: Design from the Heart of Europe
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Charismatic designers, inspirational speeches and beautiful cars in an informal and friendly atmosphere was the order of the day at the third edition of the international automotive design conference AutoDesign Prague, which once again highlighted the importance of car culture and tradition's strong roots within the Czech Republic. In recent years, speakers have included prominent figures from the world of automotive design such as the Geely Group's Peter Horbury, Dassault Systèmes' Anne Asensio, Pininfarina's Fabio Filippini and design consultant Peter Stevens. This year's conference was themed ‘Design from the Heart of Europe' and so featured many Czech and Slovakian speakers.
