Description

The Edelbrock Performer Nitrous Solenoid System is designed for the nitrous system. This stainless steel solenoid has a very low amp draw. They feature a stainless steel base for corrosion resistance, tighter tolerances and a low current-consumption coil. The system has a Teflon plunger for reliability and longevity and a powder coated coil cover for durability and appearance. The solenoids will deliver nitrous at a flow rate up to 150 horsepower and utilizes 1/8 NPT (National Pipe Tapered) inlet and outlet pipe threads.

From the start of the 2008/09 season all A1GP cars will be Ferrari powered, thus guaranteeing the Prancing Horse victory. With a driver, but without fuel, the new A1GP car weighs 695kg, while the 4.5-litre V8 engine kicks out 600bhp and 406lb ft.

I was once told that the EyesOn Design Awards was initially conceived as an award by which a vehicle would be judged by visually-impaired individuals. The prerequisite for winning was that the beauty of a vehicle would have to be determined solely through the medium of touch. Though it may seem odd that the award is presented by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO) - an internationally-recognized non-profit organization known for helping the blind and visually-impaired - it has since grown to become one of the most prestigious automotive design award ceremonies to date.

It's a drop-top version of the company’s hand-crafted C8 Aileron and production versions are due early in 2010. There's a coupe version as well - which was unveiled at this year's Geneva motor show - and together the two cars mark Spyker's second generation of supercars after the original C8s.
