Very nice, clean example with no cracks or other flaws. One stud is missing (not twisted off) on rear carb mount and a grease stain on bottom side.

1938-53 FORD/MERCURY FLATHEAD V8 SUPER DUAL MANIFOLD A truly classic race manifold; the Super Dual features 180° firing order, eliminated heat crossover and carb location over port openings. Designed for Ford and Mercury engines made from 1938 to 1948.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Use linkage kit #1032; carb stud kit #8006; generator stud kit #8506. Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7234 or Fel-Pro #MS2853. Manifold height: A-3.53", B-4.63". Port exit dimensions: 1.3" x 1.7".   Use generator bracket #1145 if not using an alternator.Very nice example of this classic.

Originally purchased for my stock '53 F100 but learned it can't be used on the truck and stay in the desired judging class with the Early Ford V-8 Club.

Jaguar has announced 2012 revisions to the XK coupe and convertible - chiefly concerned with bringing it into line with the XKR-S. 2012 Jaguar XK: the lowdown Changes on the XK are more subtle than the refreshed 2011 Jaguar XF, and share some elements with the range-topping XKR-S which was unveiled at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Up front, the XK has completely new headlights.

Mobile phones set to be biggest roads killer

MOBILE PHONES are likely to be the number one cause of fatal collisions on the UK’s roads by 2015. The number of drivers making calls, texting and using social media while driving has risen dramatically, which has led Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin to propose doubling the number of penalty points added to a driver’s licence if caught using a mobile phone while at the wheel. Figures from the Department for Transport show there were 378 accidents in 2012 that were directly attributed to mobile phone use, with 17 deaths recorded as a result.
