The low-profile of the #2975 works well in applications with minimal hood clearance and where 1" or 2" spacers can be used for performance tuning. When carb spacers are not allowed, the #2999 should be used. The museum - which first opened its doors in 1985 - has been the subject of a £5 million modernisation project. But finally - some ten years after the original plans were drawn up - the new and much improved Haynes International Museum is now open to the public.

Europe (Vauxhall and Opel) has signed an agreement with PSA (Peugeot Citroen) to cut costs and share platforms we thought it a pointless gesture; the savings, compared to the huge losses, were minimal.
