Bridgestone Potenza S001 – standard on 458 Italia & Rapide +video

Wed, 24 Feb 2010

The Bridgestone Potenza S001 - as fitted to the Ferrari 458 Italia I think it must be a petrol-head thing, but we love tyres. Anything from a cross-ply to the latest high-performance job is a source of fascination. Our tyre fixation this last few months has been winter tryes, and we’ve told anyone who’d listen not to rush out and buy a 4×4 when the snow hit but to invest in a decent set of winter tyres.

Fri, 05 Feb 2010

Renault is to debut the new Renault Megane CC at the Geneva Motor Show A couple of weeks ago we had a teaser photo of the new Renault Megane CC which is due to launch at the Geneva Motor Show next month. But now Geneva is getting closer Renault has decided to divvy up a set of pictures and a fair amount of detail.

2013 facelift for the Mercedes E Class & Estate revealed

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

The 2013 Mercedes E Class and E Class Estate get a facelift with updates to the styling and engines and higher levels of equipment. The restyling of the 2013 E-Class is surprisingly comprehensive for what amounts to a mid-life facelift, with new single headlights replacing the old split lights, new grill – with the choice of a traditional grill or a sporty version (think SLC grill) – new bumpers, new bonnet, smoother haunches and a crease line down the side all the way to the new LED tail lights. Inside, the new E Class gets two part trim the extends right across the dash in either wood (if you’re old) or aluminium (if you’re not), new analogue clock in the middle between the air vents, new instrument cluster, new air vents, new centre console  and new steering wheel with a Direct Select lever and flappy paddles.
