You are bidding on an ALL ORIGINAL set of E&J Edmunds and Jones Type 20 headlights. One lamp is complete and in very good condition with only a 2 inch rub mark and light chipping of the paint. The second lamp had been modified at one time with a motorcycle headlamp. The inside of the headlight ring was machined to allow the lamp to fit making it unusable to put an original lens back into. I DO have another ring, lens and front half of the reflector from another headlight that comes with this auction. The lens on the complete headlight is in excellent condition but the other lens has some chipping along the edge of one side(which looks worse in the picture than through your eyes). Both lenses have a purple tint and neither lens has any cracks. The headlight that was modified is also missing the back half of the reflector and bulb holder. The instruction packet is empty. Interior Motives China Conference 2010: Day 1
Thu, 22 Apr 2010Despite Europe being grounded due to volcanic ash, the third Interior Motives China conference got underway in Beijing with a record number of delegates and speakers – proof, as if it were needed, that this event is now one of the most important in the global car design calendar. This year's theme was 'New brands and the search for a design identity', and among the audience were young Chinese designers keen to learn more about international car design techniques, as well as veteran western designers hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the market they are creating vehicles for. Session 1: The Market for Design Edward Wong, Director of Transportation Design at China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), set the mood for the conference in his long, flowing 'Chang San' robe (very traditional Chinese attire). He opened the conference and invited panellists to share their views on what China's needs are and explore what makes the market so unique.

Fri, 24 Sep 2010Astra GTC Concept Paris Vauxhall sneaked us a peek at the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR a couple of weeks ago – slightly titivated and called the Astra GTC Concept admittedly – but the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR none the less. And we ran the story, even though there was precious little to say beyond they’d turned the ‘blades’ round on the doors to make it look more butch and that it’d turn up when the 3 door Astra does in a years time. But Vauxhall has decided to throw a little more out there, so we get images of the interior and some firm (ish) news on the oily bits.
