As far back as October 2009 – when the Nissan LEAF EV was first revealed - we learnt that Nissan were planning the LEAF to be just the start of their EV adventure and that they were planning more electric cars built on the same underpinnings as the LEAF and one of those would be an Infiniti. Infiniti Emerg-E Supercar Concept arrives ahead of Geneva The Infiniti Emerg-E Supercar Concept – heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – has arrived early thanks to a leak. At the start of February we got a handful of teaser photos of the Infiniti Emerg-E, a range-extender electric sports car from Infiniti, with the promise of a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in March. But the Emerg-E has arrived a bit early thanks to Interweb leaks.

Car Design News – GM Interactive Design Competition Winners Announced at NAIAS

Car Design News and General Motors today announced the eight winners of their interactive design competition in an awards ceremony on the Cadillac stand at the North American International Auto Show 2012 (NAIAS). Over 300 design students from across the USA and Canada entered the Car Design News-GM Interactive Design Competition, launched in Spring 2011. Entrants were challenged to design both an interior and an exterior design for one of GM's four brands – Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC – each of which set a unique brief.
