EFI fuel injection pump manufactured to Bosch externally mounted EFI pump specs.

This pump has the following specs:

87 litres/hour @ 3bar (44psi) @ 12v - higher at 14v

                                                      121 litres/hour @ free flow (measured at 12v - higher at 14v)

12mm (1/2") barbed inlet fitting

                                                       8mm (5/16") barbed outlet fitting

                                                       pump diameter = 52mm

These are the pumps we now supply in our blow through carb kits, as for 90% of setups, these pumps flow plenty of fuel for the application.  These pumps allow you to run a smaller return line from the fuel pressure regulator back to the tank, as the pump isn't flowing too much fuel to begin with.

Capable of supporting 250hp in a blow-through carb setup.   Our larger flowing VL Turbo 070 EFI pumps advertised elsewhere on ebay will support over 400hp in a blow through carb application.

Brand new sealed in box.  Comes with electrical connectors, rubber boots, nuts and washers.

We asked our manufacturer of aftermarket 0 580 464 070 (commonly referred to as "070" or “VL Turbo” pumps) and asked them to make us a pump that had approximately 70% of the output of our VL Turbo EFI pumps, in an effort to reduce fuel return line back pressure, meaning we can use the stock lines, instead of having to upgrade.

There is no point running a 400hp or 800hp fuel pump if your blow through turbo setup is only making 200hp.  You are simply wasting energy pumping all the excess unused fuel from the tank, through the fuel lines, then back to the tank, heating it up slightly along the way, and wasting power.

Also, a pump that is too large requires a fuel return line larger than what your engine really needs.  If you can make use of the stock fuel return line, often 1/4" (6.4mm) or 5/16"(8.0mm), then you save having to run a 3/8"(9.5mm) or larger dedicated return line back to tank.  And if the return line is too small, you can't drop the fuel pressure down to carb friendly levels as there is too much back pressure in the small return line.

These are great quality pumps, which is why we use them exclusively in our blow through carb turbo, EFI and turbo EFI kits.  Our 070 pumps are the same as you’d get if you bought an off the shelf aftermarket pump such as Goss or Fuel Miser.  We have sold over 1000 of these pumps through ebay and our website from the manufacturer we use, and also use them on our own and customers cars and have never had a single issue or failure to date related to a faulty pump, even after many years of use.  Our supplier is an international supplier of OEM and aftermarket fuel pumps and they have their manufacturing quality control really down pat.  Check out our positive feedback for our pumps, it speaks for itself.

This pump is a great option for sub 200hp EFI conversions, because it's one of the most universal and easiest pumps to hook up.  Its also ideal for pump upgrades on existing EFI vehicles, whether the vehicle is outputting 200hp or not, it doesn't matter, the vehicle fuel system will only use the fuel it requires and return the excess to the fuel tank.

When using our external Bosch style EFI pumps, you don't need special fittings or metric adapters to connect the fuel lines as the body of the pump has inbuilt barbed fittings for inlet & outlet, so the fuel hose pushes straight on and secures with a hose clamp.  Other pumps like the Bosch 910 and 044 require metric adapter fittings to connect to a hose.  Good quality fittings are worth nearly half the price of the pump itself.

It's critical to make sure you have a decent filter BEFORE your EFI pump to make sure you don't get any debris from your fuel tank into your pump, as junk in the pump will reduce both its performance and service life.

If your existing EFI pump died, it's likely due to debris in your fuel system.  You must flush out and clean your system (tank, hoses, etc) or make sure your pre-filter is clean before installing a new pump or else you'll end up with another dead pump.
