Honda replaces Jazz ES with ES Plus – puts price up
Wed, 03 Jul 2013The Honda Jazz ES Plus (pictured) replaces the old ES trim Mid-summer (if, indeed, this is summer) is not the best of times for car sales, so we get used to car makers offering enhanced specs to get punters through the door. Which is why Honda has revealed the Jazz ES Plus. Replacing the current Jazz ES, the ES Plus gets extra toys such as a set of 16″ alloys, privacy glass, cruise control, armrest for the driver and leather on the steering wheel and gear knob.
2012 Lotus Exige S: The video Duel
Mon, 26 Sep 20112012 Lotus Exige S Duel Video We’ve run a story or two on the 2012 Lotus Exige S – the one with the V6 from the Evora – in the run up to its reveal at Frankfurt. But now we get video too. An advert of any sort – even a promo video – is quite unusual for Lotus, but this is the second time this year we’ve seen a Lotus shedding rubber to entice buyers to see the products from Hethel as a viable option.
Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty – quietly during the Paris Motor Show news rush
Fri, 03 Oct 2014Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty Vauxhall trumpeted the arrival of a Lifetime Warranty for all their new cars 4 years ago, a move that was designed to show confidence in their cars and tackle the substantial warranties on new cars offered by companies like Hyundai and Kia. But now, in a lesson doubtless learned from ‘bad news’ burying in politics, Vauxhall has revealed they’re dropping the Lifetime Warranty from 2015, no doubt hoping it won’t make headlines in the middle of the news rush from the Paris Motor Show. So now, instead of a lifetime warranty (which was really only for 100,000 miles) buyers of new Vauxhalls will get a fairly bog-standard 60,000 mile/3 year warranty.
