Official: Honda F1 becomes Brawn GP

Honda F1 morphs in to Brawn GP Well, it’s good to see they survived! After reporting last week that the Honda F1 team was going to be the subject of a management buyout, thus securing the team and its employees, an official announcement has now been made and we can confirm that Ross Brawn has taken control of the Honda F1 Team, which will henceforth be known as Brawn GP. It would have been a mighty shame if Ross Brawn had been lost to F1 again.

The Jaguar XK66 (pictured) is Jaguar’s pricey goodbye to the XK in Germany We know that Jaguar is ending production of the XK this summer, and the UK already has its run-out special editions in the guise of the Jaguar XK Signature and XK Dynamic R. And now it’s the turn of Germany to get a goodbye XK. The Jaguar XK66 is a limited run XK – just 66 are being built – with the ’66′ moniker referring to the 66 years since the introduction of the XK’s earliest direct ancestor – the Jaguar XK120.

The Italian Grand Prix Monza 2010 It does make you wonder when you see one team – McLaren – using two completely different strategies whether they know what will work. Or maybe McLaren feels the needs to differentiate the strategies so the driver will be less of a focus than the strategy. Whichever it was we’ll never really know which of McLaren’s setups for the Monza Grand Prix was the best.
