Ahead of a Panamera facelift next year, Porsche are aiming to keep sales bubbling along with a limited edition Panamera – the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition. And with that facelift for the Panamera likely to arrive in 2013, Porsche are aiming to keep up interest in the now three year old Panamera with a new limited edition Panamera – the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition. The Platinum Edition Panamera comes with a platinum silver metallic finish on the air intake grills, bottom of the door mirrors, boot trim and rear diffuser and on the side vents on the front wing – just like the  Panamera Turbo – which have been added to the Platinum Edition.

Audi A2 EV won’t make production – but you knew that

Audi has revealed that it’s dropped plans to put the A2 electric concept – first revealed at Frankfurt 2011 - in to production. Back in June 2012 we reported that the Audi A2 EV wouldn’t make production as Audi had decided that the market simply wasn’t there for a £40k electric city runaround. Now that appears to have been confirmed by Audi in conversation with Autocar.

Toyota FT-Bh Hybrid Concept The Toyota FT-Bh Hybrid Concept at Geneva is yet another Toyota Hybrid Concept, this time a lightweight City Car. It’s the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for Toyota to roll out yet another Hybrid Concept, this time it’s the turn of the FT-Bh Concept which is a small hybrid – more or less Yaris-sized – that Toyota claims makes use of viable methods and materials in its construction.
