“Original used magneto in Pretty decent condition, not stuck, small dent on top and couple cracks in housing (photos). Clockwise rotation. 45 degree Lag Angle. Been stored inside for 30+ years. Not sure of exact years or applications this may fit.”

This is an original Eisemann type GN6 Magneto.  Pretty decent condition, not stuck, small dent on top and couple cracks in housing (photos).  Clockwise rotation.  45 degree Lag Angle.  Been stored inside for 30+ years.  Not sure of exact years or applications this may fit.  Please check my other auctions.

Mullin Museum 'opens,' still no public date

The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif., "opened" Thursday night with a gala Art Deco affair that did splendid justice to the beautiful cars, photos and furniture inside. Models dressed in period costume with period 'dos draped themselves over what are arguably the world's most beautiful Bugattis, Delages, Delahayes, Talbot-Lagos, Voisins and Hispano-Suizas. Similarly clad guests strolled about the perfect period decor, perfect right down to the Art Deco pillars holding up the ecologically friendly roof.

Most hybrid owners don't buy another hybrid, Polk study says

Almost two-thirds of U.S. hybrid buyers returning to the market in 2011 chose something besides another hybrid. Excluding owners of the best-selling Toyota Prius, the repurchase rate among other hybrid buyers dropped to 22 percent, according to a Polk study released today.

Chrysler drops lifetime powertrain warranty, eases transfers

Chrysler Group is abandoning its lifetime powertrain warranty in favor of five-year, 100,000-mile coverage that's more easily transferred to a new owner. Spokesman Rick Deneau said the switch was made after discussions with its dealer council. The change is effective on all 2010 model-year vehicles.
