New Ej257 short block with melling sleeves with Manley rods and super tech pistons . it has a destroker crank with acl race bearings. The motor has been destroked so the deck block has been surfaced, it has received a bore and hone and has been lined bored. Bearing clearance for the mains .020, rods .022 which gives higher r.p.m.s and more reliable power at the top end. New factory 11 mil meter oil pump modified for better flow and pressure.

The Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante – which is quite a mouthful – is a concept put together by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera for this year’s Geneva Motor Show and is a modern take on the 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, itself a Touring concept based on the Alfa 1900. This time Carrozzeria Touring has taken a modern Alfa as a platform for its creation, the Alfa Romeo 8C, and created a new body in hand crafted aluminium with carbon fibre elements, but under the skin it looks like the 8C stays intact.
