Frame:

A lightweight, "urethane blend" frame has a firm yet pliable feel for the ultimate in comfort and protection.
The material, known as "poly-flex", allows the frame to form much easier to different face shapes.

Lens:

The "GOX" frame is equipped with the highest quality, polycarbonate, shatter-resistant anti-scratch and anti-fog coated lens available.
It has 100% UVA protection and it is the leader in lens attributes and function.
Tear-off posts are integrated into the polycarbonate, hard coat lenses for ease of use and function.

Foam:

100-PPI "reticulated" vent foam allows the ultimate in airflow while keeping the dust and debris out.
This special vent foam is designed to allow moisture and condensation to escape freely.
17 mm thick, 4-layer face-foam is backed with a moisture-wicking fleece lining providing the best anti-drip, sweat protection available.

Strap:

An adjustable, double-buckle woven strap is silicone-backed for the ultimate in strap placement and hold.

Of the six cars tested, full five-star marks were dished out to the Toyota Avensis and Toyota iQ, as well as the Mitsubishi Lancer and Mazda 6. Meanwhile, the Citroen C3 Picasso and Subaru Impreza were awarded four stars.

Apple CarPlay to be available on older cars

AFP | Getty Images Drivers will be able to add Apple’s CarPlay iPhone connectivity to their existing car stereo, meaning it won’t be exclusive to the cars already revealed with the system at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The radio manufacturers Pioneer and Alpine have both already said they’re working with Apple to introduce the CarPlay software to their existing and new car stereo head units. Apple CarPlay lets you text on the move CarPlay allows you to pair a compatible iPhone (so the iPhone 5, 5S or 5C) with your car infotainment system, controlling the voice, touchscreen and buttons through the car’s in-built screen.

Two years after the Seat Altea hatchback was launched comes the extended XL version, which effectively becomes a mini-MPV thanks to a 187mm increase in length.
