Item is a very clean pair of vintage license plate frames / plateframes from an old line SoCal Chevy dealership, 'Camino Real Chevrolet' of Monterey Park. Condition is clean, with nice detail and patinated chrome with no breaks or damage, and only slight pitting. One of the pair is nearly flawless and the other shows slight wear only. Will polish up nicely and be suitable for use on a nice car as is or are very restoreable. Have a very clean and nice vintage look. Sold as a pair. UPS or post delivery to addresses in continental USA to add $7 to cost, and $25 for overseas Priority post.

Infiniti Q50 hit by steer-by-wire recall in the US

Infiniti has issued a recall notice in the US for a small number of Q50 models fitted with the firm’s new Direct Adaptive Steering system. This is a ‘steer-by-wire’ steering system that only has a mechanical link between the steering wheel and the wheels as a back-up. The rest of the time the steering is operated by electronics, rather than a direct connection.

After a series of leaks and early teasers, the wraps have finally come off the new Lexus LF-LC hybrid sports car concept here in Detroit. It's a glamorous 2+2, showing how Toyota's Calty design studio in California imagines a new sports car for the brand. However, all the indications at the 2012 NAIAS show are that it's more an ideas car - and a hint of future styling trends - more than a model bound for a Lexus showroom near you.

The Renault Twin'Run concept, unveiled during the weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, is the sibling of the Twin'Z collaboration with Ross Lovegrove. Together they fulfill the ‘Play' stage of Renault's ongoing concept car lifecycle. While its overall form is very similar to the Twin'Z's (apologies for awkward punctuation on Renault's behalf), previewing the next-generation, rear-engined Twingo, the ‘Run is altogether racier than the more pragmatic – if no less flamboyant – ‘Z.
