Brand new DC fuse for electric vehicles, battery packs, are other DC systems.  These fuses normally retail for $128.00 each !!!

These are NOT AC fuses;  they are specifically designed for DC systems.  These fuses have built-in fire extinguishing materials to ensure safe operation in the event of a major accident or short in the system.   They prevent the venting of sparks, molten metals, and gases to protect passengers and surrounding devices.  The data sheet and specifications can be found here:   http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Bussmann-Eaton/TPL-CZ

These heavy duty fuses will hold over 600 amps, and are guranteed to work in all systems up to 170 volts (although we have also tested them at much higher voltages).  We also carry the 800 amp version of this fuse, if needed.

If you have any questions about this, or any other electric vehicle parts, please email or call us at 508-923-9503.  We are the electric vehicle experts, and we will make sure that your job is done right the first time!  Buyer pays actual S&H.

Jaguar F-Type R Coupe unveiled!

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

When Ian Callum speaks design, it doesn't feel entirely like he's speaking from a teleprompter, listlessly reading from a speech carefully combed over and picked apart by public relations professionals. No, Callum -- 59, and broadly Scottish -- speaks like an old, tenured college professor, a living institution at an institution, as if he's trying to inspire a troubled student. "Cmon," he seems to tell us, "this is how it's done." For Callum, the F-Type Coupe has been an "emotional journey" since he started 15 years ago at Jaguar.
