This auction is for the pictured rear axle that came off a Sears golf cart from the 1940's. I drove the golf cart for a few years until the frame broke in half from being rusted. After I took the cart apart I noticed that the rear axle is the same axle in a Crosley car (which I also had at the time). So if someone wanted to make an electric Crosley this would be the perfect setup. The axle is all ready to have an electric motor mounted to it. The pictured Crosley stock axle is not included in this sale it is just pictured to show that the axle I am selling is identical to a stock axle. If I am shipping this to you the wheels will not be included otherwise if you pick it up in person you can have them if you want. They are golf cart wheels anyway so they would be too small for a Crosley car.

Now that Red Bull has its hooves in all forms of motorsport, it's fitting that for New Year's Eve, it staged a tandem record-setting jump with a motorcycle and a snowmobile. Rider Robbie Maddison and snowmobiler Levi LaValle took to the stage on Dec. 31, 2011, in San Diego to perform the dual jump.

BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Series introduced

BMW has released images and detail on the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Series The 7 Series ActiveHybrid, although built to serve the same purpose, utilises a different methodology to the X6 AvtiveHybrid. It is a ‘Mild’ Hybrid – built in co-operation with Mercedes – that uses a single electric motor (as opposed to the X6′s twin motors) together with the BMW 4.4 litre, twin-turb0 V8, to deliver 455 horses and 516lb/ft of torque. The V8 delivers 440bhp with the electric motor adding an extra 15bhp.The electric motor in the 7 Series ActiveHybrid is sandwiched between the 8-speed ZF ‘box and the engine.
