FIRST YOU APPLY 12 VOLTS AND THEN YOU PULL YOUR SHIFTER FROM HI GEAR IN A POWERGLIDE TO LOW GEAR WHICH PUSHES BACK THE SOLONOID AND IT STAYS THERE TILL THE 12 VOLTS TURNS OFF. Mon, 26 Mar 2007Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's spring Transportation Design degree show in February, one of the two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, projects by the 5th and 7th semester students, as well as work from students in the earlier stages of the Diploma and Masters courses. Projects by the graduating Diploma students (four year course) included: Structure Driven - A modern automotive sculpture Sebastian Kroes 'Structure Driven' combines a new structural vehicle architecture with a pure driving experience, and presents new solutions for weight-reduction and driving systems.

The Avensis is one of those cars that typically provides loyal service to company car reps before naturally seeing out as its days as a minicab, pine scent dangling from rear-view mirror. The new one though is a much tidier effort in its styling, and the Tourer (estate) version is bordering on the svelte.

Fri, 27 Jun 2014Both Koenigsegg One:1s on video at Goodwood As we’ve already reported, the Koenigsegg One:1 is debuting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, but rather than a single One:1, Koenigsegg have taken the only two One:1s in existence – yes, it’s two for the price of one at Goodwood. One car – the black one in the photo above – is a new One:1 heading for a customer, but the second (the silver can in the photo and video) is Koenigsegg’s development car, so that’s up for a bit of action on the hillclimb this weekend. But ahead of its public appearance, Goodwood managed to get some time with the One:1s and grab track time behind the wheel.
