Sadly, we won't get the steroidal hot hatch in the UK as it's not being built in right-hand drive.Why so little innovation? There's a natural lull in the model cycle after a ballistic 2007, and we'll have to wait until later in the year to see another new model, rumoured to be a concept car for a future model line.

In an extraordinary press statement entitled 'All our patents are belong to you' – a reference to online memes and gaming culture, in case you were wondering – Musk has categorically stated that Tesla will not challenge any company that takes advantage of its technology when building rival electric cars. College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition 2007
Mon, 23 Jul 2007The College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan hosted their Annual Student Exhibition in May this year, showing the work of more than 3,500 students. The Transportation Design program - sponsored by Toyota, Nissan and Honda - showed off the work of junior and senior students, each working from individual project briefs set by the automakers. Toyota Motor Sales and the company's Calty Design Center challenged students to create a "bridge" vehicle to pull current Scion customers into the Toyota brand as they mature and experience lifestyle transitions.
