Instead it’s the 9-3X, a jacked-up estate in the style of the Audi Allroad. Like the Audi, it’s only available in estate guise (Sport Wagon in Saab speak), and will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Geneva motor show in just a few weeks' time.

'We're experimenting with a dramatic Cadillac off our global small car architecture,' said a GM source. The items include Bentley artwork, a chess set and Bentley camshaft lamps.
