Jaguar C-X75 Supercar close to production testing

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Jaguar C-X75 - ready to go testing The Jaguar C-X75 Supercar – a hybrid supercar developed with the help of Williams F1 – is said to be close to production testing. The stunning Jaguar C-X75 Concept Supercar was revealed in 2010 both to celebrate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary and to look at the futures possibilities for a resurgant Jaguar. Powered by four electric motors and a pair of micro-gas turbines, Jaguar said it had 780bhp at its disposal, could get to 62mph in 3.4 seconds, top out at over 200mph and run for 68 miles (in theory) on its batteries.

The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (pictured) will be at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed starts on Thursday with the Moving Motor Show, and Ferrari are planning a good turnout including the F12 Berlinetta popping its Goodwood Cherry. It’s nearly eighteen months since the Ferrari F12 was revealed, but this coming weekend it will get a chance to strut its 731bhp up the Goodwood hillclimb. With a 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph (which isn’t that important up the hillclimb) the F12 promises a stunning spectacle for Goodwood’s visitors.

Tue, 03 May 2011

Alfa Romeo MiTo 2011 Range gets a tweak or three The proper Alfa nutters aren’t overly fond of the MiTo. They don’t see it as a real Alfa, perhaps because it doesn’t break down every five minutes and it’s front wheel drive. We’re slightly on the side of the FWD thing but in a small, mass market car FWD it’s the layout of choice.
