Ford unveils Automated Fusion Hybrid Research Vehicle

Ford has officially revealed their Automated Fusion Hybrid Research Vehicle. Created in a partnership with University of Michigan and the State Farm insurance agency, the autonomous Fusion Hybrid is designed to test driverless car sensor technology. The project is the one of the results of more than a decade of work in automated vehicle technology on the part of Ford.

This third-generation Mazda 6 will be the second model in Mazda’s line-up to feature both its suite of innovative SkyActiv drivetrain and chassis technologies and the company’s ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ design language.
