Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium engines: sub-100g/km confirmed

This is a high-tech engine family to replace the Ford-derived legacy engines left over from the Blue Oval's ownership of JLR. General Motors to offer car sharing via mobile app and OnStar

General Motors has partnered with a San Francisco-based start-up company named RelayRides to enter the car-sharing business. In early 2012, GM vehicle owners in California will be able to use the OnStar system to rent out their cars when they aren't using them. The service will available nationwide for OnStar subscribers by the end of the year.
