BMW's long-held reputation for producing only rear- and four-wheel drive vehicles comes to an end with the the new 2-series Active Tourer, its first-ever front-wheel-drive production model. The cornerstone of BMW's Geneva show stand next month, the 2-series Active Tourer marks a significant turning point for the German automaker, adopting a transverse-mounted engine and standard FWD. It arrives here in early 2015.

If you're headed to Las Vegas, at least. Enterprise isn't the first company that will rent you a two-wheeler (Eaglerider, for example, has locations across the globe) but does seem to be the first major auto rental business to diversify into motorcycles.

Toyota to debut fuel-cell, fun concepts in Tokyo

Toyota will reveal a handful of next-generation vehicles at the Tokyo motor show later this month. One is powered by a fuel cell, one is a hybrid and the others are crazy people-movers that may or may not catch the public's eye. The highlight of the display is the Toyota FCV concept, or fuel cell vehicle.
