Vauxhall Reveals The Secrets To A Successful Road Trip
Wed, 28 May 2014A VAUXHALL commissioned survey, entitled ‘Are we nearly there yet?’ has revealed that 93% of 5-18 year olds are occupying themselves with a phone or tablet during long car journeys. However, traditional car games such as i-spy, car snooker and waving at other drivers, are not completely out the window in this modern, electronic age. It seems the survival of the traditional car game has lasted the test of time despite the introduction of new technologies, with over 87% of parents encouraging children to play games not involving technology.
Non-starting Nissan LEAFs to be reprogrammed
Sun, 17 Apr 2011NIssan LEAF - date with a laptop They’re not exactly thick on the ground but, as we reported just a week ago, Nissan has already got problems with the Nissan LEAF, which has been refusing to restart once it’s stopped. But having stumped up at least £10k more than an equivalent ICE car would cost for your LEAF, the least you should be able to expect is it to do what it says on the tin without packing up.
Jools Holland’s old Jaguar E-Type S1 4.2 Lightweight Roadster up for grabs
Sun, 08 Apr 2012Jools Holland's old Jaguar E-Type up for grabs A Jaguar E-Type, recently owned by classic car nut Jools Holland, is up for grabs at what seems like a low estimate of £35-45k. Jools Holland may be best known for Later…, his annual Hootenanny, his exploits with Squeeze, his indiscretions on The Tube (with Paula Yates) and his incomparable skills on the piano. But in the real world Jools has a beard, a pipe, leather elbow patches, a penchant for real ale and a passion for classic cars, one of which, a Jaguar E-Type S1 4.2 Lightweight Roadster, is about to go under the hammer at Brightwells.
