Sun, 21 Apr 2013

With Sebastian Vettel lurking alongside and Fernando Alonso right behind, it was a big ask for the German to turn his pole position in to a win, and so it transpired. Alonso managed to briefly get past Vettel at the start of the race, but Vettel soon got his second place back and within a couple of laps had taken Rosberg for the lead.

Jaguar’s next-generation XJ luxury sedan will incorporate design features from the C-XF concept first shown at Detroit, AutoWeek has learned. Although prototypes captured by spy photographers are disguised with BMW-style grilles, the face of the new 2010 XJ will feature Jag’s gaping square grille and a curvaceous body with a rakish, coupelike rear window. The final XJ incorporates slim headlights with double-projector lenses that are very close in design to those revealed on the dramatic C-XF shown at the 2007 North American International Auto Show.

New Range Rover Sport gets Best 4×4 Award from 4×4 Magazine The all new Range Rover Sport finally gives Land Rover a sporty model that offers what its name says – a sporty 4×4. But it’s not just that the new Range Rover Sport can do the properly sporty on-road bit properly, it’s that it’s able to do so without sacrificing any of the off-road prowess that’s made Land Rover’s name. That’s been demonstrated by the award by 4×4 Magazine of their best overall 4×4 gong for 2014, knocking its full size sibling – the new Range Rover – in to second place.
