Bigger yet lighter, stiffer and faster, UK customers can order the roadster from November, with deliveries following in spring 2007. Prices start at £26,915 for the 2.0-litre turbo version, with the other launch model – running the 3.2-litre V6 – costing £31,535.

Porsche is offering a Powerkit for the Carrera S with 424bhp and an Aerokit Cup bodykit for the faux GT3 look. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera has only been with us for five minutes but already Porsche are offering more power and some add-on aero bits for a bit of a faux GT3 experience for new 911 owners. On the power front, Porsche Exclusive is offering a Powerkit for the 911 Carrera S which ups its power to 430hp (424bhp) from the regular 400hp.

  With the unveiling of the new BMW M4 imminent, BMW’s excitement has got the better of it with the M Division releasing a video showing featuring the new M4’s engine note. The video might be called ‘BMW M is preparing something new’, but the engine isn’t really a fresh design. It’s actually a tweaked, twin-turbo version of the 435i’s 3.0-litre straight-six, making this the first M Division 3-series derivative to use forced induction.
