ENGINE MOUNTS, brand new. These high quality mounts are designed to support 350 pounds each. These are ideal for replacing expensive factory engine mounts on Volvo Penta and Yanmar diesel engines, among others. The price is for one mount, we have many of these in stock. Please specify the quantity desired when ordering.
Dimensions are as follows - base length = 5" base width = 2 1/2" overall height = 4 3/4" The cast aluminum base has one mounting hole and one mounting slot that are 4" apart, on centers. The slot is 1 1/8" long. The slot and the hole will accept a 1/2" bolt or lag screw. The central threaded stud is 5/8" in diameter and is 2 1/4" tall. [ we also have these mounts with a 3/4" stud, $59 each ] All steel hardware is plated for corrosion resistance, and is designed for marine use. The stud is supported by a rubber insert that has vibration absorbing qualities. These mounts are adjustable by rotating the adjustment nut, so your engine can be aligned to your prop shaft. These mounts can be used for marine and land based generators.

Suzuki says mid-sized sedan will come to U.S. as planned
Tue, 06 Jan 2009Suzuki, refuting media reports from Japan on Monday, said it still plans to release a mid-sized sedan based on the Kizashi 3 concept in the United States this year. The Nikkei business daily reported that production plans for the car had been shelved. "The production version will debut at this year's New York auto show in April," said Jeff Holland, spokesman for American Suzuki Motor Corp.

The Focus BEV has been developed to participate in the ‘Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles’ ( a real misnomer) demonstration next year. The Focus BEV is driven by a 100KW electric motor which is powered by a 23kwh lithium-ion battery pack developed by Vauxhall’s new owner, Magna.
