IED reveals updated Cisitalia 202 E concept

IED will reveal the Cisitalia 202 E Concept – a modern version of the Pininfarina-designed 1947 Cisitalia 202 – at next month's Geneva motor show. Design students of the Master of Arts in Transportation Design developed the Cisitalia 202 E (Evolution) Concept at the IED in Turin as part of their work experience program during the 2010-2011 academic year. IED has announced that, "the concept faithfully reflects the design of the historic vehicle, with dimensions and power aligned with modern times." Technical partners of the project include CECOMP (prototype construction), Pirelli, OZ Racing and ABET Laminati.

Ford F-150 to deliver 20 percent fuel-economy gain with V6 engines

Ford Motor Co. today promised a 20 percent improvement in mileage in its 2011 F-150 pickups with a lineup of four new engines. A 3.7-liter V-6 will be standard; a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 with turbocharging and direct injection will be optional.

The new Jaguar F-Type hasn’t hit the road yet – in fact very few outside Jaguar have been behind the wheel – but one has already crashed. The new Jaguar F-Type hasn’t started to hit Jaguar showrooms yet, and very few have been driven by anyone outside Jaguar. Jaguar have been letting a few ‘names’ loose in the F-Type for a bit of PR, like Le Mans driver Andy Wallace and Martin Brundle, but most of the ‘press’ play with the F-Type has been in the passenger seat.
