Ford Escort set for Beijing motor show debut

Ford is set to unveil a production version of the Escort sedan at the China auto show this month in Beijing, meant exclusively for the Chinese market. The Escort was previewed in near-production concept form last year at the Shanghai motor show, and is meant to take on competitors positioned just above the Ford Focus sedan. Even though the Ford Escort has been absent from the automaker's global lineup since 2000, Ford of China is reviving the nameplate for this sub-Fusion/Mondeo model which will compete with cars such as the Volkswagen Sagitar and Chevrolet Cruze in the Chinese market.

Bentley Continental & Mulsanne Le Mans Limited Edition UPDATED

“There will be 48 of each of the six models (Mulsanne, Continental GT V8 coupe and convertible, Continental GT W12 coupe and convertible and Continental GT Speed coupe) – for a total of 288 in all. Among the 288, the six specification choices are not limited.” Now we know! Bentley has revealed a series of Limited Edition Le Mans cars – either as the Mulsanne Le Mans or Continental Le Mans – to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Le Mans (in which Bentley partook) and the 10th anniversary of Bentley’s victory at Le Mans in 2003. Unfortunately, all the Le Mans Limited Editions are exclusively for North America.

Jaguar F-Type: ‘Desire’ the movie released

A part of that has seen Jaguar rope in Lana del Rey as a headline act for the launch and as the chanteuse on a new short film commissioned by Jaguar from Ridley Scott Associates to feature the F-Type in a dramatic role in a half-decent short film. Now, with the new F-Type finally in dealer showrooms in the UK, the pieces of the puzzle have come together and ‘Desire’ has premiered at the London Sundance Festival, and you can view it below. Starring the Ginger Etonian – better known as Damien Lewis and dressed by Burburrey (every penny helps) - Shannyn Sossamon and Jordi Mollà, Desire is a story of “real adventure; a story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed.”  We hope that’s not meant to encapsulate the F-Type’s target customers.
