Saleen announces new electric supercar
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Californian tuner and sometimes supercar-builder Saleen has confirmed it is working on an all-new electric car, with plans to debut the new model in 2015. Perhaps best known for the 248mph Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, which went out of production in 2009, the firm specialises in providing performance upgrades for modern American muscle cars, including the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Of course, even BMW aren’t bold enough to make a production MINI – even one with Rolls Royce fairy dust sprinkled on at Goodwood – cost so much. But they’ve come damn close.
