Description:
The DMV Moto Engine Protective Covers for the Kawasaki Z1000 are designed to protect the engine cases in the event of a crash by transferring some of the impact around the delicate engine case. We hope you never have to experience a crash, but if you do, our engine protective covers will minimize the damage.

We manufacture protective covers for the left and right side. They are sold separately on two different pages, see the "Related Products" below for the other side.

The base is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The crash pad is machined from impact resistant Delryn and is bolted to the base instead of pressed into place so it can be replaced if needed. As long as this part is in production we will replace the crash pad free of charge. Simple send the damaged one back to us with your return address and the part number of your protective cover and we will send you a new one.

You will find our creative style, superb fit and finish second to none. Compare the quality of our parts and prices to manufactures like Rizoma and Lightech, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Note:

Some of your stock hardware may be reused. We recommend the use a small amount of Locktite on the bolt threads.

Available Colors:   Titanium (TM)

Please email me what color you want.
