Chrysler LLC and Fiat S.p.A. are prepared to complete an alliance by Thursday that would be taken into bankruptcy court as a key element of the U.S. automaker's restructuring plan if needed, a person with direct knowledge of the situation said.

Suzuki's C segment Crossover headed for Geneva

Suzuki has released the first two images of its new C Segment Crossover ahead of its premiere at next month's Geneva show. Unfortunately, apart from the two renders Suzuki has revealed little else about the car other than the fact that it's based on the S-Cross concept that we saw at last September's Paris show. Honda and Acura to extend incentives on out-of-stock vehicles

Honda has told its U.S. dealers to honor discount offers on models that aren't in stock in a bid to keep customers from buying from rivals as the automaker copes with shortages caused by the March earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The new program is called the Honda Promise, according to news-service reports.
