Rolls-Royce Ghost (2009) prices and performance announced

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 21 July 2009 09:46 Rolls-Royce today confirms the full spec of the new ‘baby Rolls’, the Ghost. Although the final production car hasn’t yet been revealed, the prices, performance and other tech figures have now been made public. The Ghost, which is being shown at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show for the first time (the first four pictures are of the 200EX concept car, only the fifth, teaser photo is of the real production car), will be powered by a 563bhp 6.6-litre turbocharged V12.

Honda Civic Tourer shown ahead of Frankfurt motor show reveal

Honda has shown its new Civic Tourer just ahead of its reveal at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Designed by Honda's European design studios, the Civic Tourer is expected to go on sale in Europe in early 2014. The Civic Tourer will be available with either the Earth Dreams 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine or the 1.8 i-VTEC gas engine when arrives, along with a manual or automatic transmission.

Lingenfelter offers look at car collection

Michiganders don't have to wait for the Woodward Dream Cruise to see an epic car collection in their home state. Car collector Ken Lingenfelter, cousin of the renowned NHRA racer John Lingenfelter, is opening his private garage--er, warehouse--to the public this Saturday. For $15, guests can see Ken Lingenfelter's collection of more than 150 vehicles, with proceeds going to the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology.
