Peugeot 508 RXH - on sale Spring 2012 It’s a bit of a Peugeot day today, what with the impressive HX1 Concept news and now we learn that Peugeot’s take on the Audi Allroad – the Peugeot 508 RXK HYbrid4 – will get a public airing at Frankfurt next month before going on sale in Spring 2012. But you already know that; we told you back in July that Peugeot were planning on taking the 508 RXH to Frankfurt and that it would go on sale next Spring. So what’s news.

Skoda is the latest manufacturer to join the queue of those releasing teaser shots ahead of the 64th Frankfurt motor show next week. Following on from the somewhat understated VisionD shown in Geneva ealier this year, is the MissionL. Unlike the VisionD, the MissionL concept is said to be close to a final production-ready design that will be launched through Europe, Russia and China.

It seems the battle to take a stake in Aston Martin has come down to a battle between Mahindra & Mahindra and Investindustrial. After reporting more than a year ago that Aston Martin urgently needed a new owner, or major investor, if it is to survive, it became clear earlier this month that Aston Martin was ready to acknowledge that need as the Kuwait Investment Dar starting seeking a buyer for the majority of its majority stake in AML. So far we’ve had Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata (owners of Jaguar Land Rover), Toyota and unnamed Chinese investors in the frame, but it seems the race to take a big chunk of Aston Martin Lagonda has come down to just two – Mahindra and Investindustrial.
