Equal-i-zer® 4 point sway control Hitch Brand New in Box 10,000 lbs GTW 1,000 lbs TW
Steel-on-steel friction works to prevent and correct trailer sway in this unique weight-distribution system. Sway-control brackets ensure that your trailer stays in line with your tow vehicle. Includes adjustable shank.
Features:
- Evenly distributes weight over axles of tow vehicle and trailer for stability and control
- Creates a more level ride for both tow vehicle and trailer
- Integrated 4-Point Sway Control limits side-to-side movement of trailer
- Brackets keep spring bars in place for a rigid system that holds trailer in line
- No lift chains - spring bars can't move freely
- Steel-on-steel friction helps to minimize sway caused by winds, curvy roads or sudden maneuvers
- Unique design makes system compatible with surge-type brake actuators
- Spring bars flex appropriately over uneven terrain for a controlled, even ride without the bounce
- Constructed of chromoly steel for superior dexterity and spring
- No-drill, clamp-on brackets can be adjusted along the trailer frame to accommodate frame-mounted items such as gas tanks, toolboxes or generators
- Desired tilt is achieved with traditional washer design
- Add or remove washers from spacer rivet to tilt head up or down
- Dipped steel construction is durable and corrosion resistant
- Snap-up lever eases installation by reducing lifting required by trailer jack
- System includes head assembly, adjustable shank, spring bars, sway-control brackets, lift handle, pin and clip, and all necessary hardware
- Hitch ball sold separately - requires 1-1/4" diameter shank that does not exceed 2-3/8" in length
- Made in USA

The past two days have been quite an emotional roller coaster. First, we were crushed to hear that the end of the line is fast approaching for the rugged, beloved Land Rover Defender. Next thing we know, we're reading about the resumption of Moke production in China over at Hemmings and everything is sunshine and rainbows once again.

Citroen has revealed its electric City Car - the Citroen C-Zero
That Mitsubishi M-iEV certainly gets around. Apart from Mitsubishi’s own version we’ve already had Peugeot’s iON version of the M-iEV electric car and now we get the Citroen C-Zero. The C-Zero is scheduled to go in to production at the end of 2010 and is another piece in the Citroen puzzle to get its CO2 emissions down across the range.
